Madeline Harrington is an Account Executive for Know Public Relations. In this role she is responsible for monitoring media relations projects for clients, drafting press materials, conducting strategic media outreach, and managing social media engagement.
Prior to joining the Know Public Relations team, Madeline was the Communications Coordinator at the Nonprofit Roundtable where she managed an organization-wide re-branding campaign across all digital communications platforms, including the website, blog, newsletter, and social media outlets. She was also responsible for writing and maintaining the Roundtable is a weekly newsletter, blog, editorial calendar, and social media presence.
Before moving to D.C., Madeline worked for the Media Center LLC, a start-up marketing company in Denver, CO, where she was in charge of training staff on the company’s brand and culture. She was also the lead marketing coordinator and led strategic corporate webinars to branch managers across the country.
Madeline has a Master of Professional Studies degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and she graduated with honors from the University of Iowa with a dual Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and East Asian Languages and Literature from the University of Iowa.
